    • Briefly explain the connection between oral health, physical wellness, and emotional well-being.
  2. Interactive Dental Education Session
    • Use visual aids, models, and bilingual pamphlets to teach proper brushing and flossing techniques.
    • Discuss common barriers to dental hygiene access and consistency; invite participants to share questions or challenges.
  3. Demonstration: Using the Dental Hygiene Kit
    • Demonstrate the proper use of each item in the provided dental wellness kit:
      • Toothbrush: Correct brushing angle and motion.
      • Toothpaste: Quantity and fluoride importance.
      • Floss: Safe and effective flossing technique.
      • Masabih Beads:
        • Explain how textured beads can act as a sensory calming aid and brushing timer.
        • Demonstrate how to use the beads to count brushing strokes or duration (approximately two minutes).
        • Discuss how this tool can benefit individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, anxiety, PTSD, developmental delays, or elderly populations.
  4. Hands-On Participation
    • Allow participants to practice brushing and bead counting under guidance from team members.
    • Encourage families to participate together to promote shared learning and routine building.
  5. Discussion and Reflection
    • Facilitate open conversation on how participants can integrate these practices into daily life.
    • Offer strategies to overcome barriers such as time, motivation, or sensory discomfort.
  6. Distribution and Follow-Up
    • Provide each participant with a free dental hygiene kit to take home.
