Community Outreach Highlights

These photos highlight outreach events from the Catalyst to Amanah Masabih Initiative across Northeast and Central Ohio. Our program promotes oral health education, sensory-inclusive hygiene routines, and wellness awareness through interactive teaching and community partnerships. Thank you to our volunteers, host sites, and families who continue to support this mission.

Founder (Jennat Awawdeh) welcomes children and families at Noor Kids Club for our first Catalyst to Amanah Masabih event.

As children arrived and lined up to enter the event, Catalyst to Amanah Masabih team members and volunteers welcomed them by distributing free dental hygiene bags—complete with oral care essentials, Miswak, and sensory Masabih beads.

Hands-on participation was central to our first event, bringing children and community members together for an interactive oral health and wellness session. Participants learned practical brushing and flossing techniques while exploring the Masabih Beads Wellness Model as a sensory support tool. Children practiced wellness strategies and discovered how sensory beads can support regulation, routine-building, and confidence during daily hygiene, especially for neurodiverse individuals.

Youth boys and fathers from the Boys Club came together at the community mosque for hands-on learning around oral hygiene and self-care. Dental hygiene and wellness kits were shared to support consistent brushing routines in an accessible, culturally rooted, sensory-inclusive way. We also took time to answer questions and offer practical guidance on dental hygiene and healthy daily habits. The welcoming, interactive atmosphere showed how family involvement can make oral care feel achievable and empowering.

Dental hygiene and wellness kits arranged on tables before distribution.
